A Stronger Future for SCARD

SCARD is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Vin Rajeswaran as Chief Medical Officer.

Dr Rajeswaran joins the platform with extensive experience in clinical governance, medical education, and digital health innovation. His leadership will support SCARD’s continued growth and ensure the platform remains at the forefront of structured skin cancer audit and data reporting.

Professor Cliff Rosendahl will continue as Founder and Research Director, focusing on academic collaboration, research initiatives, and educational activities. His ongoing involvement ensures continuity of SCARD’s original vision and commitment to evidence-based practice.

Dr Rajeswaran shared:

“I am very excited to be joining the SCARD team. Our vision is to further develop SCARD into the most advanced skin audit platform in Australasia. In the coming years, SCARD will play an increasingly important role in skin cancer research, structured data collection, and collaboration with multiple organisations to improve patient outcomes.”

There will be no disruption to current SCARD users. Your existing access, data, and reporting systems remain unchanged.

Our Vision

SCARD has long served as a structured audit tool supporting clinicians in tracking lesion outcomes and contributing to research.

With expanded leadership, the platform will:

  • Strengthen research collaborations across Australasia.
  • Enhance structured data collection.
  • Improve reporting capabilities.
  • Support clinicians in continuous quality improvement.
  • Facilitate broader institutional engagement.

Introducing SkinAudit

In the coming month, we will release SkinAudit, a complementary clinical platform designed to support structured workflow, lesion tracking, and performance analytics.

SCARD and SkinAudit will operate within a unified ecosystem, ensuring users can select the platform that best suits their practice while maintaining confidence in long-term support and development.

No Disruption to Our Users

All current SCARD functionality remains unchanged. There will be no interruption to access, data integrity, or reporting systems. This development represents an expansion – not a replacement.

Looking Ahead

Our long-term focus includes:

  • Enhanced academic partnerships.
  • Institute-based research initiatives.
  • Expanded educational resources.
  • Broader data-driven collaboration to improve patient outcomes.

We thank our clinician community for its continued trust and support as we enter this next phase.
