Masters of Medicine (Skin Cancer) with UQ
The UQ Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) program is aimed at reducing the gap between general practice training pathways and confident competency in skin cancer management.
In recognition of this a variety of post-graduate training pathways are available, however there is only one Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) compliant suite of qualifications in the field of skin cancer diagnosis and management.
The Graduate Certificate in Medicine (Skin Cancer) is a 12 month part-time program that is designed to bridge the gap between GP training and competency in skin cancer practice.
The Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) can be attained after a further 12 months part-time coursework and is designed particularly for those GPs who are interested in sub-specialising in skin cancer practice.
Students undergoing the MMED(Skin Cancer) with the University of Queensland School of Medicine are able to use SCARD as part of their auditing requirements.
